More Value

Here’s a trend in office furniture you’ve got to like: Affordability.

Many of our quality lines, like OSP, National, Gunlocke, and Allsteel, are coming up with more affordable lines that maintain their high standards of quality. They’re doing it through design engineering. For example, they find ways to less, not lower quality materials. Several companies have introduced lines using veneers. These products look great, last a long time, but cost a little less.

Our next several postings show some of these new lines, many of which you can see in our downtown Fort Wayne (IN) showroom on Main Street, next to the big bread sign.

What we saw at NeoCon, part 1

At NeoCon, we saw the new Gunlocke® Trio casegood collection. Designed to create harmony in the workplace by meeting the private office needs of an organization at every level, Trio does so without sacrificing the quality or craftsmanship that is synonymous with Gunlocke.
Components can be combined to create freestanding desk stations, U-stations, L-stations, double stations and even workwalls. This planning flexibility and wide range of mixed materials offered with Trio, such as veneers, paints, glass and plastic laminate combinations, translates into a casegood line that fulfills the need for organization and design synchronization throughout the entire office.
The Trio collection completes Gunlocke’s casegood product portfolio by providing a high-quality office solution that meets most any budget, but is still complete, coordinated, versatile and refined.

First Ever Store Wide Sale Starts Today

While we usually hold a warehouse sale in the fall to sell off excess used office furnishings, this is the first time we’ve ever held a store wide sale on both new and used items. It’s a great chance to save on overstocked items, one of a kind pieces, and items we were able to purchase at special low prices.

Find out more at this link: www.workspacesale.com

Today (May 17) is day one, so we have the biggest selection now. This sale ends on Friday, May 28. You save money, we get some extra room. Maybe we should call it the “Win-Win” sale, but we’re just going with “Spring Cleaning Sale.”

Comfortable new meeting room chair from Allsteel

Acuity is a chair that enhances any environment, any body. Designed in collaboration with Bruce Fifield of Milan-based Design Continuum Italia, Acuity is designed with Italian sensibility and Allsteel ingenuity. Its design and ergonomics work seamlessly while the controls are intuitive. Acuity is elegant and pleasing to the eye, as anything inessential has been stripped away, leaving behind only a purity of form. It’s a comfortable meeting room chair for around $300.

In training rooms, it’s important that everyone can see the facilitator. That get’s hard to do when people in the back have to look through rows of computer monitors.
